---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haití - Un fuerte terremoto sacudió el país empobrecido de Haití en la tarde del martes, en un hospital se derrumbó y la gente gritaba por ayuda. Other buildings also were damaged. Otros edificios también resultaron dañados.
The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 7.0 and was centered about 14 miles west from the capital of Port-au-Prince, according to the US Geological Survey. El sismo tuvo una magnitud preliminar de 7,0 y tuvo su epicentro a unos 14 kilómetros al oeste de la capital de Port-au-Prince, según el Servicio Geológico de EE.UU..
